Rincon Restaurant Guide

Welcome to the second edition of ¡Buen Provecho! Rincón!

The guide includes restaurants, roadside wagons, bakeries and the small grocery stores known as colmados. There was no charge to the businesses for their descriptive listings. I am grateful to those businesses who decided to advertise in the guide, however, as their participation has allowed us to make ¡Buen Provecho Rincón! free to the public.

The maps for this 2012 guide have been updated by Rincón artist, Joyce Gaven who designed the original maps. Joyce’s maps were a large part of the success of the first edition. Joyce’s artwork can be found in local gift shops or available from the artist on her website www.gavenart.com.

The Worth A Visit section of the guide was expanded to include more places that are within twenty minutes of Rincón. There are also some suggestions for restaurants in other towns for sightseers.

This will be the only edition of ¡Buen Provecho Rincón! in 2012. Since Rincón is a seasonal town, summer hours and openings are subject to change. Call ahead. We have included phone numbers for this purpose. We hope you will have fun in Rincón. We know you will find good things to eat. Buen Provecho!

How to Use This Guide

• Rincón is divided into sections called Barrios and abbreviated Bo. Our guide is also divided into Barrios. Each Barrio listing will contain the restaurants, bars, and markets etc. that are found within that specific part of Rincón.
• The business descriptions (Guide #) are number coded to correspond to the map. 
• Kilometers… (Km.) Even though we have listed them in the guide, sometimes they are hard to find and sometimes even confusing. They are included so you have a general idea. The maps will help.
• Our $-$$ signs are general and indicate an average price per person (not including tax, tip or alcoholic beverages). 
• $ - $10 and under
• $$ - $20 -$30
• $$$ - $30-$40
• $$$$ - $40 and up 
• General note: It never hurts to call ahead to verify. We’ve included phone numbers, when available, for this purpose.
